Positive: Professionalism, Value
I got my private pilot license in San Luis Obispo at Eric Aero. He is a great instructor and I felt very prepared for my checkride. Not to mention I saved thousands of dollars flying with him instead of a local flight school (nothing against them). His Cessna 150 is beautiful and well equipped, and I’ve heard he’s recently converted it to glass instrumentation. Eric is an extremely safety-oriented instructor and he spares no expense on maintenance, I would and have taken up my family and friends in his aircraft. All in all SLO is a great place to learn to fly and you will not find a better program to get your pilot’s license than at Mustang Flying Club. I now live in Oregon and am an aircraft owner pursuing my commercial certification (1960 Piper Comanche 180). I owe a lot to the program at Mustang Flying Club.

Eric is awesome! I started taking flying lessons with him in 2019 and fell in love with aviation. Eric is attentive to the needs of his students and tailors his training to create a safe and fun environment to learn the art of flying. Eric also founded FlyThisSim which is a flight simulator he uses while training his students. It helps keep the cost low of obtaining your private pilot license while providing invaluable safety and technical experience. If you’ve always dreamed of flying, start with taking a discovery flight with Eric. You’ll quickly become hooked like I did. His prices are very fair (best deal in SLO area), and the quality of training far exceeds other places I tried. Not to mention, the Cessna 150G used for Private Pilot training at Eric Aero is a great aircraft. It’s super well maintained, easy to fly, and the perfect aircraft to learn with. 10/10! See you in the skies

The Eric Aero is a great club for aspiring pilots and licensed aviators alike to gather and learn about aviation! It is a great place to meet new pilots and discuss aviation topics with opportunities to get hands on flight experience. Overall I would recommend this club to anyone interested in flying!

Eric Aero is a great flight school on the central coast. Eric is a down to earth instructor with a well kept Cessna 150 and a couple of flight sims to also use for training. Scheduling is easy and Eric works around my schedule. Flying with Eric is also very fun and I’ve got to check out some pretty cool places. If you’re thinking about getting private pilots license or even an instrument rating, mustang flying club is the way to go.
